Intumescent strips are heat-activated, non-combustible seals fitted into routered grooves on fire doors and frames to create a barrier against fire and smoke. When a fire starts, the strips expand to many times their original size, filling the gaps between the door and frame, blocking flames and toxic gases, and containing the fire for a specified period, typically 30 or 60 minutes. They are a legal requirement for fire doors and are available with an integrated smoke brush.

Vents focuses on their function, such as improving indoor air quality by allowing controlled airflow and managing condensation. Vents are available in types like Air bricks for external walls, Trickle vents for windows and doors, and Hit and miss vents for internal areas, with each type offering different styles, materials (like durable metal or affordable plastic), and control over ventilation for specific applications.
