These foot operated door holders are simple to use. Push down with the foot to hold open and press the release catch with the foot to release. The release is operated by a powerful spring so these holders should not be fitted where small children can access them. Not suitable for fire doors. Bolt throw is the measurement of the throw when the bolt is in use, and includes the rubber foot when fully pushed down
